Electrostatic Anti Rust Oil meets petrochemical industry standard SH/T 0692-2000 (L-RD-2) and is most suitable for the short to medium-term rust protection of electro-galvanized, hot-dip galvanized and also unpassivated steel sheets. Electrostatic Anti Rust Oil is a brown oily liquid mainly made of highly refined mineral oil base that is blended with a mixture of crucially efficient rust inhibitors film forming agents, and surfactants. This blend is a stable and uniform anti-rust system that can effectively form dense oil films on metal surfaces so that they are protected from moisture, oxygen, and corrosive media.
Technical Specifications
Anti Corrosion Oil for Steel Sheet is to be a brown and oily liquid. The open cup flash point is ≥130°C, ensuring excellent operational safety. Its kinematic viscosity at 40°C is 24±2 mm²/s. Thus, the film can be stable for long time while maintaining the fluidity at the optimal level. Electrostatic Rust Preventive Oil after humid-heat test (using 10# steel) which amounts to ≥336 hours the result was that no corrosion was found. Also, during stacking test, the product was able to keep the corrosion level basically unchanged for 7 days or more. Properly applied Industrial Anti Rust Oil for Steel is capable of providing a rust protection time of more than 12 months, suitable for medium and even long term storage and transportation protection.
Instructions for Use
1. Before Industrial Anti Rust Oil for Steel application you have to clean the steel surface, make sure it is dry and free of rust, oil and any other types of dirt.
2. You can choose between spraying, brushing, dipping, and roller coating for your application.
3. Recommended thickness ≥0.8 g/m².
4. As far as the coatings are concerned VCI anti-rust packaging materials are a recommended complementary product for them.
