Product overview of electrical mechanical antirust paper:

1. Electromechanical Antirust Paper is a new type of electrical mechanical antirust paper made from high-quality antirust base paper and coated with safe, efficient and multi-metal VCI. Electromechanical Antirust Paper is especially suitable for antirust packaging of mechanical and electrical products with high requirements on the performance and surface quality of VCI antirust paper.

2. After the product is packaged, the VCI contained in the paper is slowly vaporized and volatilized at room temperature to form inhibitor steam, which is adsorbed on the metal surface and forms a molecular protective film, thus playing an excellent role in VCI rust prevention and excellent contact rust  prevention effect when contacting with metal.

Technical parameters and performance specifications:

The product weight range can be adjusted from 60 to 120 g/m² according to application requirements, ensuring good coverage while balancing strength and flexibility. Its pH value is controlled between 6.5 and 7.5. Rust prevention capability can reach over 720 hours, and the overall protection period under sealed packaging conditions can reach 12–24 months. Simultaneously, the material has good water vapor barrier properties, with a water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) controllable within the range of ≤6 g/m²/day (ASTM E96).

Customer Applications

An automotive electronics manufacturer used CVCI products for export packaging of precision connectors and electrical components, with a shipping cycle of approximately 30–45 days, to destinations in Southeast Asia and Europe. Even in environments with humidity levels as high as 70%–90%, the products arrived in good condition, showing no signs of oxidation or corrosion. Packaging efficiency improved by approximately 30%, and overall costs decreased by approximately 15%–20%.
