The product weight can be adjusted within the range of 80–180 g/m² to meet application requirements, enhancing moisture resistance while maintaining strength, making it suitable for environmentally sensitive metal products. The product's water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) can be controlled to ≤5 g/m²/day (ASTM E96), significantly superior to ordinary rust-proof paper, effectively reducing the impact of high humidity environments on metals and achieving a rust-proof period of 12–24 months. The product's applicable temperature range is typically -20℃ to 60℃, meeting the needs of sea freight, warehousing, and inter-regional transportation. Precautions for using Anti Rust VCI Paper:

VCI packaging paper must be strictly operated in accordance with GB/T 14188 standards during use. The surface of the packaged metal must be kept clean and dry, and no oil stains, dust, sweat stains and other pollutants must remain. During cutting, placement and packaging, avoid contamination of Anti Rust VCI Paper, especially prohibiting direct contact with the surface of the anti-rust layer with bare hands. When packaging, be sure to ensure that the paper surface of the barrier VCI paper faces the metal surface, and at the same time ensure that the overlap is sealed intact to avoid water vapor penetration caused by gaps. The working environment must be kept clean and dry to prevent water droplets, condensed water or foreign matter from contaminating the Anti Rust VCI Paper and the metal surface. After packaging, during loading, unloading, storage and transportation, the packaging should be prevented from being damaged and the overall sealing should be maintained. If the VCI packaging paper is not used up at one time, it must be sealed and stored in time to prevent the volatilization of the anti-rust gasification agent, and the exposure time to the air shall not exceed 4 hours. Through the above standardized use, the protective performance of Anti Rust VCI Paper can be maximized and the anti-rust life of metal products can be extended.

Storage requirements for barrier VCI paper: 

Products sealed with barrier VCI paper should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct exposure to rain, direct sunlight, wet ground, high temperature heat source and acidic and alkaline corrosive substances. Products packaged with VCI packaging paper should be stacked at least 0.1 meters above the ground and prevented from being squeezed by heavy objects to avoid damage to the packaging. The temperature in the warehouse should be controlled below 40℃ and the relative humidity should be kept below 85%. Under the above storage conditions, Anti Rust VCI Paper can be kept for 3 years from the date of delivery.
