Working principle of Solvent Diluted Anti Rust Oil:
Solvent Diluted Anti Rust Oil uses organic solvents to dilute the active ingredients such as corrosion inhibitors, moisture-proofing agents, and film-forming agents into a low-viscosity solution suitable for spraying, brushing, or dipping. The solvent gives the oil good fluidity and wettability, ensuring that it can evenly cover the metal surface, including micropores, gaps, and corners.
After coating, Solvent Based Rust Preventive Oil begins to evaporate rapidly at room temperature, and the surface is usually dry within a few minutes. As the solvent evaporates, the anti-rust components gradually concentrate and solidify on the metal surface, forming a continuous, dense, and highly adhesive protective film.
The polar corrosion inhibitor molecules (such as carboxylates, phosphates, amines, etc.) in the Solvent Diluted Anti Rust Oil oil film form bonds with the metal surface through chemical adsorption or physical adsorption, forming a molecular film with a shielding effect, which effectively prevents the contact and penetration of moisture, oxygen, and corrosive ions.
